Blessing at the shrine

This is a wish plaque. Reina wrote it herself. She wants to become better at folding origami paper.

.
The only family (sort of) photo we have before Rio fled with his grandparents. At this time, I assumed we would have more opportunities to take full group shots...

The miko priestesse of Hikawa "Bright Light" Shrine working. There are Hikawa Shrines in nearly every neighborhood of Tokyo. Wouldn't this be the coolest part-time job as a student??

A young priest who did part of Reina's blessings. Cool outfit eh?

Instead the shrine where Reina received her blessings. The white pom-pom is like a holy broom that cleanse evil spirits. The black thing on the ground is Hiro's backpack.

This is a lovely photo of Hiroshi helping Reina decide what to write on her plaque.

This is Hiroshi hanging up Reina's wish plaque. Good thing he's not a midget.

Yes, it was a nice day but I am starting to get tired. The last photo before we go head. It was also getting quite cold but Reina wanted to keep exploring. She was great that day, really mature, happy but not demanding. Wish I could say the same for, hm, her male sibling....
